SEGRO plc has welcomed new customer KN Network Services to its Slough Trading Estate. The company has signed a 10-year lease for a 20,333 sq ft unit and will be based at 221 Dover Road.

KN Network Services (KNNS), a market leader in infrastructure and telecommunications solutions, has now moved into the facility on the Estate, which will be the key location for its business operations in the UK, Ireland and internationally.

The company specialises in the telecommunications, civil engineering, rail, electricity and energy sectors, and has been at the forefront of telecommunications infrastructure build for over 40 years.

It has worked on a wide variety of projects across the UK and also executed several international projects, with particular reference to the mining sector, where it was responsible for the construction of numerous microwave and fibre optic networks in West Africa and the Caribbean.

The Slough Trading Estate will offer the business a prime location and the flexibility to service its UK and international client base more effectively from a modern industrial facility.

The location of the trading estate will help them strengthen their service capabilities and we look forward to working with them to help develop and expand their business.”

Donagh Kelly, CEO of KN Group, said: “SEGRO have demonstrated a continued investment in the Estate and the calibre of the existing tenants and businesses reflect the success of the Estate and the benefits of working from Slough. We hope this move will further cement our position in the UK and aid our long-term goals of continued growth.
