Slough: Join The Business Magazine as we shine spotlight on remarkable town
Slough boasts the UK’s highest concentration of global corporate HQs outside London, and new developments and innovation are attracting unprecedented attention to the town. Regeneration projects – amounting to more than £1 billion – are underway, along with 30 acres of town-centre redevelopment, The Heart of Slough, which is planned as part of a £450 million project. In recognition, The Business Magazine is publishing a special feature, Slough – central and connected, in our April 2017 edition.
Sitting at the gateway between the Thames Valley and London, Slough is undoubtedly one of the most business-friendly locations in Europe. At the intersection of the M4, M40 and M25, it offers easy road access to the rest of the country. In 2019 the Elizabeth Line will enable people to travel directly between the heart of London and Slough, Langley and Burnham; and the Western Rail Link to Heathrow will cut airport journey times to just seven minutes.
But as well as being central, Slough is also extremely well connected. It sits astride the digital transatlantic superhighway, and is home to one of the biggest clusters of data centres in Europe. It is the location of choice for many global corporate HQs, data centres, telecommunications, digital, life-science and high-technology manufacturing businesses.
The Business Magazine's special April feature will be read by thousands of company directors, business owners, professionals and support agencies across the Thames Valley. This edition will be available in print, in digital format, promoted by eNewsletter and social media, and made available as source material for advertisers.
Bookings are being taken now, and should be made by February 20 through Peter Laurie on 0118-9766416 or email [email protected]
