Slough business announces expansion with new flexible office spaces

Following a 33 per cent increase in demand for office space, self-storage company, Space Station is creating six new flexible office spaces at its Slough location.

Ready to open its doors from April 2021, the new flexible working space will service businesses in the Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Gerrards Cross, Uxbridge and Heathrow areas. Conveniently located with links to the A4, M4, M25 and M40, the new offices, alongside the company’s existing storage facilities, are ideal for commuters and those currently working from home who want to reclaim some space.

Space Station is creating the six new offices spaces in addition to eight existing flexible workspaces, which are currently at full capacity. Ranging from 130 to 225 sq ft, each office will have the ability to accommodate up to four people.

Michal Stephens, Store Manager at the Slough facility, said: “We are proud to have been able to provide our services, be that self-storage, our free removals or existing flexible office space, to the people of Slough safely through various lockdowns and restrictions.

“We’ve seen a huge increase in demand for office space in the Slough area over the last 12 months, as people have realised through the pandemic that they perhaps don’t want to work from home 24/7 but want to the option to work flexibly closer to home.

“The new offices will offer flexible features in a convenient location and will enable many workers to be able to claim back areas of the house they have lost to office space over the last year. We are looking forward to growing our entrepreneurial hub that will become a hive of activity in the months and years to come.”
