Shepherd Neame completes £500,000 refurbishment of Broadstairs seafront hotel
Kent-based brewer Shepherd Neame has completed its £500,000 refurbishment of The Royal Albion Hotel, which dates back to 1776, on the seafront at Broadstairs.
The project, which took ten weeks, involved a major renovation of the restaurant area on the ground floor.

Five of the hotel's 21 en-suite bedrooms have also undergone a complete transformation - with new furniture and décor, and new luxury bathrooms including drench showers.
The historic hotel remained open while the work took place.
"We are absolutely delighted with the finished results of this project, and have already received great feedback from customers," said general manager Marc Duvauchelle.
"Our refurbished rooms really offer a premium experience for guests, and the investment in the restaurant has ensured that we make the most of our hotel’s fantastic seafront location."
Shepherd Neame has been based in Kent for more than 300 years and is perhaps best known for its classic ales such as Spitfire Amber, which carries the Royal Warrant.
Its portfolio includes Five Grain Lager, Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale, Bear Island Triple Hopped Lager and the Whitstable Bay collection.
