A new 24-hour fitness club is on schedule to open in Ringwood this December. Based on the thriving Forest Gate Business Park, the Anytime Fitness club will provide a much-needed fitness facility in the town.
Opening in purpose-built premises covering 9,000 sq ft, the club will offer state-of-the-art equipment, a minimum of 20 hours of instructor-led classes per week plus a choice of over 800 virtual classes projected onto a 125-inch screen, as well as personal training.
Launched by local businessmen Steve Thorne and Connor Thorne, the club is part of the Anytime Fitness franchise - the second largest private health club operator in the UK, which has over 4,000 clubs worldwide, 160 of which are based in the UK.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the interest in the club from those living and working in Ringwood, as well as those from further afield, as modern fitness facilities in this part of our area are few and far between.” remarked Steve.
As well as offering up to 1,500 memberships on an individual basis, local companies keen on promoting health and wellbeing as a top business priority can take advantage of excellent rates on corporate memberships.
“We’ve heard from a number of prominent local businesses looking to offer their staff free or discounted memberships. They see it as a way to not only boost employee engagement and productivity, but also to reduce sickness absence.”
Creating up to eight jobs initially, the club will share the Forest Gate Business Park with other occupiers including Lidl, Colten Care, Eberspacher and Comax.
