The Grumpy Goat, a craft beer and cheese shop in Reading town centre, is expanding, taking over the upstairs floor of its premises to add a bar.
The business was named one of the best cheesemongers in the South East at the Farm Shop and Deli Retailer Awards in April. The craft shop sells a range of locally supplied produce including honey, chutneys, coffee, chocolate and biscuits alongside its beer and cheese.
Originally opening in the Harris Arcade in 2013, the store moved to Union Street in 2020.
Two years from that move the shop is expanding again.
The Goat Bar is expected to open on 19 August at 8pm.
