Reading’s Green Park secures five tech occupancies

Green Park, the Reading business park owned by Singaporean investor Mapletree, has signed five tech occupancies this summer totalling 23,000 square feet.

Smart technology manufacturer TP Link has taken 5,000 square feet at 250 South Oak Way, following a soft refurbishment by Mapletree. Meanwhile, Extreme Networks renewed its 250 Longwater Avenue lease, retaining 15,663 square feet of office space.

The remaining three tech occupancies are all new leases on the newly refurbished East Wing of 100 Longwater Avenue. Enterprise browser developers Island Technologies, workplace software developers Voss Solutions and outsourcing specialists Centralis, have all signed for space.

Rory Carson, Mapletree’s Vice President of Asset Management in the UK, said “Post pandemic, our experience at Green Park is that SME tech companies, as well as household names such as Virgin Media O2, are coming to us because we offer excellent quality, flexible space which provides their people with an outstanding built environment.

“However, equally as important is ensuring that they can be part of our wider vibrant population where our yearly 450-strong activities programme and Life at Green Park portal engenders a strong sense of community.”
