TA Fisher, the Reading-based property development company, has exchanged contracts for the sale of a 1.1 acre site in Church Crookham to leading care-home operator BUPA.
The site at Blue Prior, Redfields Lane, forms part of a larger mixed-use commercial scheme, and has been sold for an undisclosed sum.
The site has outline planning permission to erect a 60-bedroom luxury care home, and construction is due to commence mid-2007.
Commenting on the sale, TA Fisher managing director John Fisher said: “We are delighted with this disposal, which kick starts plans for additional commercial development elsewhere on the site in the near future.”
The agents acting for TA Fisher were Lambert Smith Hampton and Hollis Hockley.
