More than 100 professionals from across the South East gathered at Reading Town Hall in October for Savills' autumn drinks and canapes.

Hosted by Savills Reading, the event attracted landowners, architects, developers and legal professionals, who enjoyed a relaxed evening of networking in the illustrious surroundings of Victoria Hall.

Guests were also given a first-look at VU:CITY, an interactive design and masterplanning tool. The tool, which uses innovative game engine technology to map cities and buildings, is revolutionary within the industry and Savills is one of the first property firms to invest in it.

Phil Brown, head of Savills Reading, commented: “Ours is a people business and the event was the perfect opportunity to get together with our valued clients and partners.

“This year, we were delighted to preview one of our latest investments, VU:CITY, a hugely exciting tool for the planning and development sector. Interactive models now exist for major world and UK cities and I hope soon for Reading too.

“We would like to thank our clients for their continued to support, as we mark another successful year in business in Reading.”
