Oaktree and Patrizia are in talks to sign medical technology company Becton, Dickinson for circa 45,000 sq ft of office space at their speculative new development and refurbishment at the Winnersh Triangle business park on the outskirts of Reading.
Market sources this week said Becton, Dickinson had gone under offer to take all but the top floor of the four-floor Building 1030.
In June, Patrizia UK and Oaktree officially brought 115,000 sq ft of Grade A offices to the Reading market, following the completion of a new development and refurbishment. The new 61,780 sq ft office scheme at 1030 Eskdale Road, which was completed earlier this year, is located at the Western end of the park.
It is unclear what rent Becton, Dickinson would pay but asking rents are around £30 per sq ft.
JLL is advising Beckton, Dickinson; Oaktree and Patrizia are advised by Strutt & Parker, Vail Williams and JLL.
