Works have commenced on a new residential development on Tilehurst Road, Reading, designed by architects and project managers, The Harris Partnership, for Gable Homes. The development will deliver 10 new residential apartments on a long-standing vacant brownfield site formerly occupied by a Brooklands Garage dealership which has been closed and boarded up since 2013.
The two-bed flat units are aimed at the over-55 residential market, are being built in two blocks by Francis Construction. There will be parking facilities and sympathetic landscaping, bringing a much-improved aspect to this prominent residential location.
