MuleSoft, provider of the leading platform for building application networks, has announced the opening of its second office in the UK, to support the continued growth of the company. The new office, located in Forbury Square in the centre of Reading, will be home to MuleSoft’s pre-sales, support, professional services and training teams. The opening of the new office is set to create a number of new roles for technical skilled workers, for which the company will be hiring throughout the year.
“There couldn’t be a more exciting time to be joining the team at MuleSoft, and we’re thrilled to be opening a new office in Reading,” said David Wyatt, vice president of EMEA, MuleSoft. “Our technical field team is crucial to the company’s success, playing a key role in helping us to understand our customers’ needs and ensuring they get the most out of our product. As part of that process, our teams work on new, complex technical challenges every day, helping customers like Spotify, Unilever and Dixons Carphone drive business outcomes and propel innovation with Anypoint Platform. The Thames Valley has been compared to Silicon Valley, and the technical talent pool of its inhabitants made Reading the obvious place to begin the next stage of our European growth.”
The opening of the new offices was marked with an official ceremony, attended by parliamentary candidate for Reading East Rob Wilson and members of the senior leadership team at MuleSoft.
“I’m delighted that MuleSoft has chosen to make Reading its new home,” said Wilson. “Our town has established a growing reputation for itself as a prime location for some of the world’s biggest technology brands, given its huge technical talent pool and great transport links. The arrival of MuleSoft is yet another example of why Reading is a great place to live and work, with some of the most exciting career opportunities that the country has to offer.”
MuleSoft’s mission is to help organisations change and innovate faster by making it easy to connect the world’s applications, data and devices. With its API-led approach to connectivity, MuleSoft’s market-leading Anypoint Platform is enabling over 1,000 organisations in approximately 60 countries to build application networks.
