Home Group, one of the UK’s largest providers of homes, is the latest national name to join the thriving occupier community at Winnersh Triangle – the award-winning business park near Reading.

Home Group, a provider of homes across the UK for sale and affordable rent and a leader in long-term integrated housing, health and care, has moved its Reading team into Winnersh Triangle’s ‘100 series’ – providing flexible space for organisations.

As well as offering accommodation to support success and expansion, the 100 series offices are ideally located, giving occupiers fast access to Winnersh Triangle’s road and rail transport connections. They are also within close proximity to the wide range of amenities available to those working and visiting the park.

Commenting on the relocation, Home Group’s chief financial officer, John Hudson, said: “Our colleagues are increasingly working more flexibly due to improved IT capabilities. This has enabled us to optimise our office space more efficiently through hot-desking.

“As a registered charity we take value for money seriously, and that isn’t simply about reducing cost. In moving to this new space at Winnersh Triangle we are making significant cost savings whilst increasing the facilities on offer to our colleagues. It’s a win-win situation.”

Commenting for Winnersh Triangle, Beverly Harrison said: “Moving to Winnersh Triangle will enable Home Group to continue to deliver its exceptional services as one of the UK’s leading providers of homes and supported housing. Its new offices at Winnersh Triangle will enable Home Group to easily access its customers across the Thames Valley region every day.”

Charlie Nicholson, partner at Vail Williams LLP, commented: “We are seeing an increasing number of enquiries from companies currently based within serviced offices which want to take control of their property costs on a conventional basis. The 100 series offer a self-contained office, and lease flexibility in close proximity to the thriving community of 65 multi-national companies in among a Grade A mix-used business park with unrivalled amenities.”

Owner of Winnersh Triangle, Frasers Centrepoint is a full-fledged international real-estate company and one of Singapore’s top property companies with total assets of around £14 billion.
