The Thames Valley Women in Property branch offers some great events throughout the year, and its 'Leading Ladies' series is one of the highlights.

In this, the third in the series, Geeta Nanda, CEO, Thames Valley Housing Association, will be the guest speaker at a breakfast to be held at Barton Willmore’s headquarters in Reading on April 28.

Nanda joined Thames Valley Housing in 2008, having worked in the housing sector for 26 years. She is an executive board member at TVHA and Fizzy Enterprises and a member of the Group Investment Committee.

She is also a non-executive director at McCarthy & Stone and is currently a commissioner on the Fairness commission for London.

She received an OBE for her services to social housing in June 2013.

Over breakfast, Nanda will give an overview of her career to date, including the key challenges and opportunities she has faced along the way.

The event will be of particular interest to those in the affordable housing sector or wishing to advance to board level.
