Ingleton Wood, an Oxford-based property and construction consultancy, has welcomed Morwenna Slade as its new director of climate change.
An expert in climate change, heritage and sustainability, Morwenna will head up the firm’s climate adaptation team in the newly created role.
Ingleton Wood previously collaborated with Morwenna during her tenure at Historic England’s technical advice department, working on projects involving Blenheim Palace, Wells Cathedral and Kensington Palace.
She’s also previously held roles with the National Trust and Churches Conservation Trust, providing specialist guidance on the technical aspects of care, repair, maintenance and adaptation of historic built environments.
Peter Webb, director of building services engineering at Ingleton Wood, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Morwenna Slade as our new director of climate change.
“Morwenna’s extensive expertise and passion for sustainability will be invaluable as we continue to advance our commitment to creating environmentally responsible and resilient projects.
“Her leadership will be pivotal in driving our climate initiatives forward and making a positive impact on the built environment.”
Morwenna is set to operate primarily out of the firm’s Oxford office, but will support work across the South West and Wales.
Beyond its Oxford headquarters, Ingleton Wood has offices in Colchester, Cambridge, Billericay, Norwich, Oxford, Nottingham and London.
Its services include architecture, building surveying, building services engineering, planning, interior design, civil and structural engineering, quantity surveying, project management and health and safety.
