Poole: Industrial premises sold to local occupier

On behalf of receivers, Goadsby has sold 68/68A Old Wareham Road – a detached industrial unit totalling 11,191 sq ft with frontage to the busy Old Wareham Road.  

The quoting price was £699,950 plus VAT and 3,950 sq ft is currently income producing.

Director Chris Wilson said: “The purchaser was located very close by and was looking for a freehold in Poole to allow the company to expand. 

"There is currently an acute shortage of freehold industrial/warehouse properties in the central South Coast region.   

"The purchaser was attracted by the competitive quoting price – compared with that of a new build which is in the region of £120/£125 per sq ft plus VAT and which most purchasers requiring freehold premises of this size in prime Dorset locations are now having to consider.”
