Commercial property specialists VSL & Partners has appointed Andrew Parker in a move that gives the firm Oxfordshire’s largest dedicated agency team.

Parker’s role as commercial property consultant is to focus on office and industrial development opportunities, providing funds and developers with the essential support required. He brings with him a one million sq ft warehouse design-and-build opportunity over 62 acres in Didcot, known as GIANT.

Parker has a diverse property background, having dealt in most sectors both across the UK and in Europe with clients ranging from private investors and property companies to funds and institutions. With over 30 years’ experience throughout a variety of market conditions, he has built a strong reputation for his ability to recognise and deliver on opportunities, to both add value and minimise loss.

Of his appointment, he said: “I am delighted to be joining a team with such an incredible track record; 2014 was an outstanding year where VSL advised on transactions totaling 694,329 sq ft. It is clear that 2015 is proving to be particularly dynamic and the economy is far stronger than in previous years, so I’m looking forward to working with a team that is growing and making a positive impact on the commercial property market in Oxfordshire.”

Richard Venables, director at VSL & Partners, said: “Andrew’s appointment essentially means that we now have the largest dedicated commercial property agency team in Oxford, which further consolidates our position as the leading firm within our field.

"Over the past 12 months we have witnessed dynamic changes in market conditions with investors and developers increasing their appetite for office and industrial stock in the County.  Andrew’s new role seeks to capitalise on these positive market changes and will increase the expertise and capacity we can provide to our ever-expanding portfolio of commercial property clients.”
