Yates Lettings, formerly Hodsons Lettings, which has a portfolio of properties in Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage, will now be managed by the offices of Davis Tate.  Davis Tate will open a new office on Didcot Broadway in September.

Managing director Robin Yates, who will be retiring, will remain on a consultancy basis during the transition to Davis Tate, and his established team, headed by Joe Hodgkins in Abingdon and Amanda Price in Didcot, will be joining Davis Tate, to ensure continuity of service.

Matthew Davis, joint managing director of Davis Tate, said: “We are pleased to add the Yates portfolio to ours, continuing from a number of mergers in the past few years. Experienced people are essential to our business, and we are delighted to welcome the Yates staff into the Davis Tate fold.”

Yates commented: “We let and manage some great properties, and the time has come for us to join with a larger portfolio.  This will ensure that our clients continue to receive a first-class service. Each client has a personal property manager, backed up by an in-house accounts and maintenance team. Additionally my investment landlords can now benefit from Davis Tate’s ‘Investors In Property’ service, bringing together residential sales, mortgages and lettings."
