Savills development and valuations division has bolstered its expert team with the appointment of Kristina Appleby as an associate in Oxford.

Appleby joins Savills from Knight Frank where she worked as a surveyor for nearly six years, starting in its head office in London, before moving to Oxford in 2018. RICS registered, she has worked in valuations since graduating from the University of the West of England with a First Class Honours Degree in Property Management and Investment. Her experience is in residential and small-scale development valuations.

Appleby commented: “I am thrilled to be joining the largest valuations team in Oxford. Over the past six years I have gained a wealth of experience in residential valuations and look forward to supporting Savills in further building its residential valuation offering.”

Appleby's appointment sees Savills dedicated valuations team in Oxford and Reading grow to eight specialists. Tom Lindley heads up the team and commented: “I am delighted to welcome Kristina to Savills. Established in Oxford in 2000, we have grown to become the largest team of registered valuers in the region, with a broad reach across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and Thames Valley. Kristina’s appointment is in response to increased demand for loan security work and her expertise further expands our capability in the residential sector.”

The team has a track record of valuation consultancy and services in relation to development land, commercial and residential property. Clients include major banks, specialist real estate debt finance and private equity providers, developers, investors, local authorities and other institutions.

The team valued £4.2 billion assets last year. Its service is backed up by the firm’s wider network of 440 registered valuation experts across the UK.
