Bottle, the Oxford public relations agency, is expanding its geographical reach and opening a new office in Bournemouth.

The launch of the new office comes at a time of unprecedented growth for Bottle. This growth is a result of a number of changes at the agency, including the 'realignment of its proposition', which starts with a daily 7:30am newsroom, the development of in-house content and insight teams and a stronger focus on the future of PR within the digital SEO space. This realignment has, says Bottle, delivered demonstrable impact for its growing client portfolio.

Bottle chose to open its new office in Bournemouth to attract a pool of strong talent, with the courses for digital content and PR at Bournemouth University being named among the best in the UK. And it is no coincidence that Bottle chose Bournemouth to open an office in as it is currently one of the fastest growing digital cities in the UK (according to a report by Tech Nation).

The Bournemouth office, located at the Echo Building, will be led by Jason MacKenzie, who joins Bottle after six years as managing director of Birmingham and Channel Islands PR agency, Liquid. He started his career as a journalist, before working in marketing management roles in retail and telecommunications. Chartered Marketer and Founding Chartered Public Relations Practitioner, Jason believes that an integrated approach to PR and marketing communications is vital to deliver results. He is the 2017 national president of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Jason will be supported by publisher, Lauren Whitty.

Natasha Hill, managing director at Bottle, comments on the launch: “Bournemouth may not have been the obvious choice when looking to expand, but it really stood out against other candidate cities. There is a growing creative and digital economy in Bournemouth, with a welcoming bunch of innovative agencies, who are proving you don’t need to be in London to create great work. We immediately felt a connection and are very excited to have found Jason and Lauren to start this exciting chapter in a very cool and highly relevant Echo Building.”

On joining Bottle, MacKenzie explained: “I was drawn to Bottle due to its unique and creative approach to PR, content and digital. I love the way they are willing to push their clients to deliver the best results even if this means stepping outside of their comfort zone. I look forward to helping Bottle as it continues to grow and help build its clients’ businesses.”

Bottle’s new office is located at The Echo Building, in Albert Road, Bournemouth.
