Jurys Inn Oxford has now completed a full refurbishment of its existing 168 bedrooms, and an additional 72 new bedrooms are currently under construction. This will bring the total number of bedrooms to 240 by the end of 2016.
A new lobby includes areas for guests to hold small meetings and a new Costa Coffee. Jurys Inn Oxford will also launch a new bar, a renovated Juvenate Health and Leisure Club and a new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill in December 2016. The new restaurant will have 180 covers and will be available to hire for corporate events.
In addition, a brand-new conference centre will be launched this autumn. The centre includes 15 meeting and events spaces, including a large multi-purpose conference room accommodating up to 300 guests, five dedicated boardrooms and a new breakout area for refreshments. This development marks the commitment of the Group to evolve in respect of meetings and events.
Jurys Inn Group has increased its portfolio of hotels from 27 to 36 hotels in the past 12 months, and undertaken an investment of £50 million in hotel refurbishments.
Marc Webster, Jurys Inn head of sales, commented: "In the last number of years Jurys Inn has made a commitment to evolve the hotel brand and has therefore invested millions to ensure all locations are of a consistent look and feel with comfortable and stylish new interiors.”
