Newbury: Racecourse properties under starter's orders

Berkshire MP Richard Benyon has opened the doors to the very first showhome at Newbury Racecourse’s newest phase of properties, The Chase, in a ribbon-cutting event at the flagship David Wilson Homes development.

The housebuilder is currently crafting a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties at The Chase alongside the iconic racing track as part of its development and the showhome gives visitors the first chance to look at what the homes will be like.

Benyon, recently re-elected MP for Newbury, was joined by David Wilson Homes Southern managing director Paul Crispin as they marked the official opening of the showhome. The event was also attended by the directors at the housebuilder’s division including sales director Rob Allen and development director Ian Blair.

Benyon said: “I was delighted to be able to attend this event and to see the next phase of this exciting development which is providing much-needed quality housing with a good number of affordable homes for families in Newbury.”
