Joint agents Carter Jonas and VSL & Partners have secured a new occupier for 8,892 sq ft (826 sq m) of space at Eyston Way Industrial Estate in Abingdon on behalf of developer Canmoor.

Oxfordshire-based Pergolux UK Ltd, a leading provider of standard aluminium pergolas, has taken Unit 11 on the well-established estate which is adjacent to the new Fairacres Retail Park.

Eyston Way is a multi-let industrial estate located six miles south of Oxford. The site includes seven units with a total square footage of 77,238 sq ft.

Will Preece, Canmoor, said: “We are delighted to have signed up Pergolux at Unit 11, Eyston Way Industrial Estate for what will be their first UK premises. We look forward to working with them closely to best facilitate their growth in the future.”

Michelle Tran, Pergolux UK, Country Head, said: “Abingdon is an optimal location for warehouse and distribution facilities, due in large part to the proximity to nearby ports and transportation corridors. The pressure to add more facilities has increased as a result of Pergulux extensive international growth."

Adrian Chan, Senior Surveyor, Commercial, Carter Jonas, said: “The unit has strong property fundamentals, and this, coupled with a lack of other quality space in the region, led to high levels of interest in the site being received. These factors enabled us to agree on strong market terms on behalf of our client.”
