KBS oversees sale of Crawley’s Vision Survey to Celnor Group
West Sussex-based Vision Survey has become the 10th member company to join Celnor Group in a deal overseen by KBS Corporate Finance.
Founded in 2007 by John Gray, Vision Survey provides a range of compliance services including utility scanning, GPR (ground penetrating radar) and permit-to-dig applications for civil engineers and constructors.
With more than 100 professionals, the company has contributed to such projects as Thames Tideway, Crossrail, London Olympic Park and expansions at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
It’s now part of the built environment division of Celnor Group, a specialist provider of testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) services.
Celnor has been looking to partner with entrepreneurial businesses to provide perpetual ownership, support and investment for growth.
Founder and group CEO Simon Parrington said: “Vision Survey is a great addition to the Celnor Group, strengthening our built environment offering alongside existing member companies GIP, Brownfield Solutions, AF Howland Associates, MATtest Site Services and Aitken Laboratories.
“Vision Survey has an excellent reputation for quality and has enjoyed a strong period of growth, which we’re looking forward to continuing with investment from Celnor.
“I’m delighted to welcome John and his team to the group.”
John added: “We plan to ramp up investment in new technology and innovation, which will enable us to anticipate and service the future demands of our customers,” he explained.
“Celnor is committed to ongoing training which will strengthen our capability as well as provide career development for our people.”
The deal was overseen by Jay Singh, corporate finance director director at KBS.
