Commercial property agents John Truslove are helping to bring Redditch its first dedicated gymnastics centre.
Head Coach Ben Worrall will be running classes seven days a week at the new centre, based on the Enfield Industrial Estate, following a major refit of the premises.
He and his father Paul have been running gymnastics clubs within Solihull for several years, providing up to 30 sessions a week catering for a wide age range from toddlers up to adults training for competitions.

“We had been operating at a leisure centre but the dream has always been to have our own premises so we can run classes full time,” said Ben.
“I’ve been a gymnastics coach for about ten years now, and my Dad’s been coaching for over 25 years, so we have a lot of experience and know what we want to create – and the demand for it.
“We’ve been working with Ben Truslove, the joint managing director at John Truslove, for about seven years, looking for the perfect premises.
“Ben has been great with us; John Truslove are the best estate agency we have ever used. They understood what we needed. It’s a bit unusual, so I think the landlords took some convincing, but this is a long term commitment for us. That’s why we have signed up for a ten year lease.”
Ben Truslove helped Redditch Gymnastics Club secure a ten year lease on 5,219 sq ft of space at Units 8 and 9 on the town’s Enfield Industrial Estate, a pair of warehouse units with car parking.
Ben Worrall added: “It means starting in a new area as our distance from our last venue could present an obstacle for our Solihull members but we know the demand is there. Gymnastics’ profile has soared in recent years and our experience in Solihull has shown us that people of all ages are keen to give it a try.
“With dedicated facilities, we will have the equipment and space to offer both classes and one-to-one coaching when we plan to open in August.”

Ben Truslove, joint managing director at John Truslove, said: “This is an unusual use for a factory/warehouse unit, but Ben Worrall has drive and vision. This will be an outstanding addition to the local leisure and fitness scene, and we look forward to him producing new champions in the sport.”
