The land and commercial departments at Goadsby have announced the successful sale of a 1.3-acre development site at 37 Culver Parade, Sandown, on the Isle of Wight.

The site comprises a former nightclub, amusement arcade and holiday apartments, and has been sold with the benefit of detailed planning consent for 47 apartments and approximately 6,000 sq ft ground floor commercial space.

Phil McWilliam, land manager for Goadsby, commented: "Sandown is a beautiful seaside town in need of regeneration and investment. We are confident the development of this exciting scheme will have a positive impact on the area and will promote further investment and interest in the town."
