Property and construction consultancy Ingleton Wood has announced it has moved into new larger premises in Oxfordshire to service rapid business growth and support the continued expansion of the Practice.

Ingleton Wood’s new office at Thorney Leys Business Park in Witney will accommodate its growing workforce amid strong demand for its multi-disciplinary services over the past three years, including full design services as well as separate commissions for design and project management, mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, and structural engineering.

Recent projects include the £11m regeneration of the Grade II listed Carriage Works in Swindon, English Heritage Building Carbon Reduction Programme, Linmere Farmstead residential community scheme in Bedfordshire, and the revamped £2m Malvern Splash Leisure Centre.

Other projects in Oxfordshire include the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory campus in Harwell and a heritage project at the historic St Mary’s Church in Bloxham.

Peter Webb, director of building services engineering, who oversees Ingleton Wood’s development across the region, said: “Moving into our new office is an exciting step for our growing team and enhances our capacity to grow to suit both our new and repeat client base across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

“We are providing multi-disciplinary services to support private and public organisations, helping to design, create and project manage high-quality, energy-efficient and eco-friendly buildings.

“These are exciting times for Ingleton Wood as we build on the foundations laid over the last three years to support our growth plans and strengthen our commitment to play a leading role in developing a sustainable built environment across the region.”

The practice recently appointed Shawn Galliers as director of sustainability to lead the expansion of a new specialist team with ambitions of becoming a recognised ‘Centre of Excellence’ for sustainability at the new Oxfordshire office.

The local employer has also recently taken on 18-year-old Drew Gullen who is studying towards a Building Services Design Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, and Emanuel Bakcsi, aged 20, on a Building Services Industrial Placement.

Laura Mansel-Thomas, senior partner at Ingleton Wood, said: “There is a lot of exciting potential in the built environment across Oxfordshire and our new office will enable us to strengthen our presence and embrace new opportunities across all sectors, whilst attracting new talent and continuing to deliver high-quality multi-disciplinary service for our clients.

“We would also like to thank everyone who attended our official opening and drinks reception at our new office to mark the significant milestone in Ingleton Wood’s history.”
