Web hosting firm Hyve Managed Hosting has opened new premises at The Office, located on Circus Street, Brighton.
The new office space set in the city centre’s new cultural quarter was designed by architects shedkm and delivered by real estate developer U+I in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council.
Hyve has nested in the top two floors of the building, which has become the firm’s UK headquarters, joining the firm's offices in Frankfurt and Santa Monica.
Named as “One to Watch in the Sunday Times’ Profit Track 100 List, Hyve hit £12 million turnover in 2021, and is on track to reach £15 million by year end 2022. It offers a range of hosting services, from both private and managed cloud to co-location and security services.
Jake Madders, Co-founder of Hyve, said: “We’re so excited to welcome our team to this new, exciting space in the heart of Brighton, creating the buzz that makes us the thriving business that we are.
“We’ve recently been recognised in the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech list 2022, which is a great acknowledgement of how our employees feel about the working environment that we’re trying to create.
“We really hope that current and future employees will be proud of our space in Brighton, and our wider place in the South Coast’s tech scene.”

Rob Sloper, Development Director at U+I, said: “Brighton has a well-established reputation as one of the UK’s best places to live and work, one of the ‘happiest’ places and one of the UK’s most entrepreneurial cities, but suffers from lack of new high quality office space.
“At Circus Street we’re addressing that and providing space to gather Brighton’s brightest businesses. The location and stunning, sustainable and healthy design make this a prime spot for forward thinking companies to call home.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hyve to Circus Street and excited about more innovative brands, retailers and hospitality businesses coming in to create a thriving and diverse neighbourhood in the heart of Brighton.”
There are still four floors available at the 30,000 square feet Grade A, BREEAM “Excellent”, WiredScore Platinum-rated workspace on Circus Street, comprising 21,000 square feet.
