Romsey-based Highwood, the award-winning residential and care developer, has appointed Andy Stevenson as its new construction director.

With an established career at board level with a number of high-profile developers and contractors, Stevenson joins Highwood from McCarthy and Stone with responsibility for delivery of all new construction schemes, health and safety management and customer care.

‘Naturally I’m delighted to join the board at Highwood,’ commented Stevenson. ‘Highwood is a hugely successful property business with a great reputation and being able to help take the company to the next level of development with its new management structure is a very exciting proposition.’

Stevenson’s appointment comes at the same time as Highwood’s recent ‘changing of the guard’ and will see him supporting the new management team’s future growth strategy, led by incoming Chief Executive Officer, Mark Baskerville.
