SEGRO has announced that the online electricals retailer AO World has signed a 10-year lease on a 33,500 sq ft facility at Axis Park, Heathrow, which will be used to distribute domestic electrical appliances. The company will be joining existing occupiers DHL, Royal Mail and Smiths News.
Alan Holland, business unit director for Greater London at SEGRO, said: “As a result of this deal, the estate is now fully let, which is a testament to its prime location.”
David Ashwell, group logistics director at AO World, said: “Axis Park is an excellent location and ticks all the boxes. We look forward to moving in and becoming fully operational next year.”
