Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal fundraising ball set for October

Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal is a charity which provides respite services for children suffering from cancer and life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Children suffering from these illnesses are often in and out of hospital for treatment including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which cause a range of side effects.

This, along with long hospital admissions, can take its toll on both the young person and their family, clouding family memories. This has only got worse since the pandemic meant a lot of these diagnoses were either made late or missed.

Hannah’s Appeal provide holiday accommodation for these families, allowing them to make memories outside of the hospital visits which will hopefully prepare them for the journey ahead.

This, of course, cannot be done without funding, which is why the charity is hosting its annual ball on 1 October. For more information click here.

Hannah’s Appeal are also the chosen charity for the South Coast Property Awards, the leading commercial property event in the South East. This year’s iteration is taking place at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on 29 September and will be hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke.
