Dutton Gregory Solicitors, headquartered in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, has opened a new office in Liverpool city centre.

The northern expansion adds to the firm’s network of six offices in the south of England, and will house 12 legal professionals.

Dutton Gregory has appointed Liverpudlian local Alex Gregory-Chialton as Office and Business Development Manager to drive the expansion into the northwest. Alex, who has 17 years’ property experience, previously owned an Estate & Letting Agency in North Liverpool, and spent the last 10 of those running Newman Street, a successful Mortgage Advice business.

Paul Sams, Head of Property at Dutton Gregory, said: “Opening an office in the north of England, 230 miles from our Chandler’s Ford headquarters – has taken considerable planning and investment. Having recruited Alex Gregory-Chialton earlier this year, we are delighted to have now opened our Liverpool office, with more members of the team joining this month and next.

“The demand for all tenures of residential and commercial property has been rising month by month during 2023. With the eyes and ears of the huge global Eurovision audience in Liverpool over the coming weeks, we couldn’t have timed this office launch any better. We are very much looking forward to servicing new and existing clients from our northern base.

Alex Gregory-Chialton, Office and Business Development Manager, said: “I am thrilled to be leading Dutton Gregory’s expansion into the north. Being able to welcome clients and new colleagues to our newly opened office - right in the heart of Liverpool - is a terrific milestone.

This is an inspired move for a southern law firm, and it is already bringing lots of opportunity. The northwest property market is strong, and the growth is rapidly exceeding other cities in the south.

“I am so excited to see how much we can expand the Dutton Gregory presence across the north during this year and future years.”
