Bargate Homes have put the first homes up for sale at its £32 million Hamblewood development in Hedge end.

The first group of the 123 eco-efficient family houses and apartments will be ready to inhabit within the next few months. Hamblewood - located off Heath House Lane- has 38 private homes left for sale with prices ranging from £385,000 to £460,000.

All of the homes at Hamblewood are being constructed to EPC-B standards which means buyers will benefit from Green Mortgage rates. The Home Builders Federation reported that buyers of a newly built home save, on average, around £2600 in annual energy bills.

Sales and Marketing Director Andrew French said: “The three- and four-bedroom homes at Hamblewood represent the best value new homes for sale across East Southampton and the Borough of Eastleigh.

‘’In line with Bargate Homes’ eco-focus, the high specification exceeds building regulations. These beautiful homes offer refined contemporary living and creature comforts such as underfloor heating, stylish kitchens and bathrooms, and a choice of quality flooring options included as standard.

“With the cost of renting continuing to rise, Hamblewood offers those looking to climb onto or up the property ladder an opportunity to move into a brand-new home of their own within a matter of months.

Reservations are currently being taken, with local people and those keen to move to Hedge End snapping up their preferred house design and plot. Our sales team is on hand seven days a week to provide prospective purchasers with lots more detail about this popular new development.”

The houses feature design in line with the architectural styles found locally: red brick facades, dentil courses, and herringbone detail with gables. Parking will be either provided on plot, via driveways and garage space, or within shared parking courtyards.

New public spaces will be created across the development, delivering both recreational and ecological benefits to the area. Green buffer zones will be created along the southern boundary to provide amenity function and retain local wildlife corridors.

Hamblewood is a short drive away from the M27 making it well connected to the south of England. Southampton City Centre is 6 miles from the development and Fareham is 10 miles away. The nearby public transport provides connections to Eastleigh and London Waterloo.

Bargate Homes builds select developments in locations within Hampshire, Dorset, and West Sussex. The company is currently delivering 900 homes across six live developments and has a pipeline of future sites expected to deliver in excess of 2,500 new homes.
