National facilities and property management group Fasset has appointed Jack Prady as national engineering manager.

This is a new position assuming responsibility for developing and leading the 120-strong UK services team in the operation of its self-delivery/insourced facilities management business across the science, business and technology park sector.

Michael Cripps, Fasset’s operations and finance controller, said: “Jack will have a dual remit of ensuring the maintenance and engineering operation for the BEST Network locations are aligned and operate with maximum efficiency, while also developing and enhancing the Fasset facilities management services to a wider market.”

Prady brings a wealth of expertise from both a service provider and client-side perspective. Previous roles include working with a leading retailer, to mobilising and later assuming contract management responsibility for a strategically-aligned risk and reward model for estate services, covering 1,200 properties.

Fasset has seen significant growth over the past 18 months and now manages 11 business park locations (including BEST Network), delivering daily services and managing key contracts.

Prady commented: “Fasset has a great reputation within the industry and I am delighted to head up the FM Services delivery and play a key part in shaping the strategic growth and engineering excellence at such an exciting time in the company’s evolution.”
