Charles Russell Speechlys in Guildford has promoted four lawyers who have all been recognised for making an outstanding contribution to the firm’s continued success in the South East. Real-estate transactional specialist Claire Timmings has been promoted from a senior associate to legal director. Becky Lawton (employment lawyer), Felicity Chapman (family lawyer) and Daniel Moore (insolvency lawyer) have all been promoted to senior associates.
Timmings has extensive experience in acting for companies, individuals and other bodies (including charities) on all aspects of their property requirements. She is a founding member and secretary of the Commercial Real Estate Legal Association (CRELA) a forum for non-contentious real estate lawyers.
Lawton advises company clients and senior executives on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, and has specialist knowledge in the retail, financial services and healthcare sectors.
Chapman specialises in all aspects of family law. She is a member of Resolution, a national association of family lawyers and other professionals committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. Felicity has recently campaigned for the introduction of ‘no fault’ divorces.
And Moore advises a wide variety of stakeholders on domestic and international insolvency issues, including banks, financial institutions, companies, directors, trade creditors and insolvency practitioners.
