A significant milestone has been reached in the development of a new, purpose-built headquarters building in Warwickshire, on behalf of British chemical engineering firm, Calgavin.
Leading property developer, Graftongate has confirmed that the building’s steel frame is now in place and cladding installation is set to start shortly.
The 36,381 sq ft development is being constructed on a 2.3-acre site at Alcester Employment Park, Arden Road.

It will be known as the Centre for Flow Processing and will become a focal point for the integration of commercial and university-led research. The building will deliver Grade A office facilities and laboratory and product development space, as well as production and testing capabilities.
Graftongate is targeting an EPC A rating for the new development which is expected to be completed in Q1 2024. Benniman is the appointed contractor.

Alcester Employment Park lies in an established commercial location near Redditch and Stratford-upon-Avon, with access to the national motorway network. The site is capable of delivering c.450,000 sq ft of industrial/warehouse accommodation, including individual units of up to 150,000 sq ft on a design and build basis.
