Rothmans Chartered Accountants has opened a new, larger office on Fareham High Street, bringing together the firm’s branches at West Street, Fareham, and Little Park Farm Road, Segensworth. The move also marks an increase in the number of staff for the office.

Senior partner Martin Osborne said: “By combining the teams from both offices, we are able to extend even further the level and range of expertise and services we offer.

“The move also provides an easily-accessible and central location for our clients and a superb office environment for our staff.”

As well as retaining all 22 staff from both the previous branches, a further two qualified accountants and three trainee accountants have been recruited for the new office as part of the company’s continuing expansion drive.

During the past year, Rothmans has opened new offices in Petersfield, Southampton and Sutton. The company has also created a new insolvency arm, Rothmans Recovery, with offices in Portsmouth, Salisbury and Bristol.

Rothmans now has 11 branches across the south.
