The Winchester-based Hendy Group car dealership has announced multi-million-pound expansion plans for opening three new dealerships in Eastleigh as part of its long-term expansion.
Paul Hendy, the Hendy Group managing director, said the plans to open Mazda, Kia and Honda dealerships on the new site represent an investment of around £9 million.
In addition to a showroom with space for 27 new cars, the facility will include a 20-bay workshop, space for 120 used cars and also restaurants and offices. The existing Eastleigh showroom will focus on Ford products.
Detailed plans have been submitted and the new dealerships are due to open in the summer of 2017.
