Oxford commercial property consultants VSL & Partners is delighted to announce a further letting at Park 34, Didcot to Ebara Pumps Europe SpA (UK Branch).

Ebara Pumps Europe SpA (UK Branch) will relocate from its existing facility in Uxbridge as part of their plans for future growth. The business, which employs 15 staff in the UK, is a branch of Ebara Pumps Europe SpA Italy, who are part of the multi-national Ebara Corporation of Japan. Ebara Corporation are recognised as a global leader in the design and manufacture of pumps.

Ebara has established a reputation for reliable, high-performance products, manufacturing pumps from the most durable materials to fulfill the market requirements, in particular pressed stainless steel, suitable for many different applications, and environments. The product range includes surface mounted pumps, submersible pumps, and booster sets all suitable for domestic as well as industrial applications. The design and construction allows for a long life cycle, and ease of maintenance.

Rick Monahan, general manager of Ebara Pumps Europe SpA (UK Branch) said: “We were very pleased to be able to relocate the business from Uxbridge to Didcot. We have hugely increased our office and warehouse space, so enabling us to provide a superior service to our customers. Access to Didcot is very good, which is important for our multiple weekly deliveries from the Italian factories, and our daily dispatches for delivery to sites throughout the UK and Ireland.”

Tom Barton, director at VSL & Partners explains: “This deal underlines the strength of demand for good quality warehouse space in the area with Didcot the main driver for industrial transactional activity in the county. Industrial supply in Oxfordshire is at unprecedented low levels which could potentially lead to occupiers needing to relocate out of the Oxford area. Despite this, Park 34 was able to provide Ebara Pumps Europe SpA (UK Branch) high-quality space to house its future growth and we wish them continued success.”

VSL agreed a letting of Unit A comprising 19,441 sq ft to Ebara Pumps Europe SpA (UK Branch), which is managed by Standard Life Investments on behalf of South Yorkshire Pensions Authority. This follows on from a further letting at Unit B comprising 16,400 sq ft to Henley Designs.

Park 34 is situated within the Southmead industrial area which is an established commercial location and home to a number of national and multi-national companies including Tesco plc, Norbert Dentressangle Logistics, Volvo Trucks and Bus and Basildon Chemicals.

Joint agents VSL & Partners and Carter Jonas are currently marketing a further 14,435 sq ft of high quality warehouse/production space at Unit C, Park 34 which benefits from 29 parking spaces and a yard area. For further information, please visit www.vslandp.com or www.carterjonas.co.uk
