The Gloucester office of national property consultancy, Bruton Knowles, has been appointed by Gloucestershire College to work across its portfolio of properties.
Bruton Knowles secured the contract following a competitive tender, and is already set to manage The College’s complex property requirements, across the Gloucester and Cheltenham sites, and support ambitious plans for further development and expansion.
Part of a national consultancy network, the Bruton Knowles Gloucester team will draw upon the experience of its locally based experts and be able access additional specialist resources from a national team that has wide expertise in the education and digital sectors.
The work will include undertaking property management, agency, lease advisory and valuations for the Gloucestershire College portfolio comprising four key sites: Launch Pad, Alexandra Warehouse, 125 Business Park and the Cheltenham Campus.
“Providing facilities and courses which help our students secure stand out qualifications will only benefit the community, expanding knowledge and expertise in the Gloucestershire area. With our current focus on how we can develop our digital offering across our key campus sites, we want to work with a property agency who we know will go above and beyond our needs, understand our goals and offer advice and support where needed, and Bruton Knowles ticked all those boxes”, comments Andy Bates, Chief Financial Officer at Gloucestershire College.
Gloucestershire College was recently shortlisted for the prestigious Institute of Technology bid and announced its ambitious plans to develop its digital offering, creating new higher level digital education and training opportunities for students and employers.
Gloucestershire College provides BTEC, Apprenticeships and other Further and Higher Education courses across the Gloucestershire area, making this high-profile win an excellent opportunity for Bruton Knowles’ Gloucester team to further expand its growing portfolio.
Dorian Wragg, Partner and Head of Commercial Property in the South West for Bruton Knowles, said: “For Bruton Knowles Gloucester office, this is a really successful new contract to take on. We’ve built up a good rapport with Andy Bates at Gloucestershire College and that trusting relationship has allowed us to work closely with him."
