The Thames Valley branch of Women in Property has appointed Nicky Brock, a Planning Partner in the Oxford office of Carter Jonas, as its new chair. Nicky’s first appearance as chair came on Sunday (23 April) when the Thames Valley property group was relaunched. Women in Property offers women to strengthen their industry connections as well as making new ones. The Thames Valley branch has a range of events lined up, including a summer boat trip along the Thames, tours of interesting development sites and a Christmas shopping event at Bicester Village. This is the perfect time to get back out there and get people together, supporting each other. WIP is a great organisation that inspires women in the property and construction industry and supports them at all stages of their career. “I look forward to taking the branch from strength to strength this year and encourage a group of women in the area with a common interest to come together.” Nicky will be supported on the committee by Emma Jewson, also of Carter Jonas, Louise Nesbit of Knights, Laura Gorman of Penningtons and Lama Chami of Gardner Leader.
