Cala Homes has brought on Jessica Sparkes as Head of Planning and Tom Pearson as Senior Land Manager.

Jess and Tom join the Land and Planning team at Cala’s South Home Counties division, which primarily operates in Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, and Kent.

As Head of Planning, Jess will be liaising with councils and stakeholders across the region. She brings more than 17 years’ experience to Cala, joining the firm from Barratt Developments where she oversaw planning applications and development strategy.

Tom’s new role as Senior Land Manager sees him identifying optimum land opportunities and progressing Cala’s existing contracted projects. He most recently served as Director at Crest Nicholson.

Nick Brown, Land Director for the South Home Counties, said: “Jess and Tom each bring a wealth of land and planning experience as well as significant regional knowledge to the team – both of which are essential in helping us build on our legacy in the area.

“We are excited to welcome them on board and look forward to working together to bring forward a diverse mix of sites to accelerate our provision of high-quality, community-focused new build developments across the South Home Counties region.”
