A new £2 million trampoline and activity park for Hampshire is set to open later this year. Flip Out, the world’s fastest growing trampoline park operator, has announced its latest venue will open in the centre of Basingstoke.

The 25,000 sq ft leisure attraction will be located within the town’s Festival Place Shopping Centre, creating around 60 new jobs.

Offering more than just trampolines, Flip Out Basingstoke’s main arena contains seven climbing walls, two 30ft cyber towers for vertical races between friends, two 25ft high super slides, wipeout zone, battle beams, a laser maze and a huge foam pit.

Flip Out is famous for its stunt boxes which are perfect for learning and practicing free-running skills and Basingstoke’s will include a full-sized padded Lamborghini to leap and climb upon.

The arena will also include a central zone packed with 60 inter-connected trampolines including smaller trampolines suitable for the under 5s.

Jon Inwards, CEO of Flip Out UK, said: “It’s exciting to be able to announce that work has now begun and Flip Out Basingstoke will be opening within months.

“We’ve found the perfect location for our venue which will blend the fun of a traditional trampoline park with the excitement of an adventure and activity centre.

“Flip Out Basingstoke will appeal to all the family, offering three themed party rooms, a soft-play area for younger children, along with a diner selling hot and cold food and refreshments.

“We’re also planning to bring some UK firsts for a trampoline park, with more news coming soon.”
