Barratt David Wilson Homes South West appoints new Managing Director

Bristol-based Barratt David Wilson Homes South West has appointed Ralph Hawkins as its new Managing Director.

Ralph, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the housebuilding sector, spent nine years as Barratt Bristol before moving into the position of managing director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, then Crest Nicholson South West.

Ralph said: “I am excited to take on the role of Divisional Managing Director and am looking forward to working with my new colleagues to deliver great places to live for our customers.”

Russell Glimstead, regional managing director (West Region), Barratt Developments PLC, said: “Ralph brings with him vast land and residential development experience. I know he’ll make a tangible difference to the communities where we build and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the helm of our South West division.”
