A new role has been created to accommodate major growth at a thriving Buckinghamshire business and technology park.

Jayne Cannell has been appointed as business park manager at Westcott Venture Park and will work alongside the five-strong management team including Rod Mordey, of park owner PATRIZIA, Colin Theobald, managing agent of property firm Lambert Smith Hampton, Nigel MacKenzie, project manager, Ed Andrews, services manager and Claire Thompson, PR and marketing manager.

Previously a manager at Aylesbury-based Pure Offices, she has been tasked with supporting the development of the Park, building a vibrant community and its new vision to ‘Provide Space and Security for Sustainable Growth.’

Cannell said: “I will be meeting with all the businesses on the Park, finding out their needs and supporting their growth plans.

“It is a really exciting opportunity to be part of the Westcott Success story and I look forward to getting to know everyone as soon as possible.”

In recent years the Park has undergone a major transformation from historic testing facility into a UK centre of excellence for global technology and has carried out a major rebranding exercise. It is now well placed to play a key role in the new Buckinghamshire Industrial Strategy.

Lambert Smith Hampton managing agent Colin Theobald added: “A big part of the Westcott message is collaboration with more than 80 companies based here and many doing business with each other.

“Jayne will play a big role in that as we continue to build a positive, collaborative community which will attract like-minded companies and individuals to develop their ideas. I am sure she will be a great asset for everyone on the Park.”
