AI-powered property portal Jitty launches in Bristol

Jitty, a platform which helps homebuyers search for and filter properties across a wide range of metrics, has arrived in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

The service uses large language models (LLMs) to collect floorplans, photos and descriptions of homes, organising the information into an easy-to-use search engine.

Users can filter by size of home, number of bathrooms, on/off-road parking, EPA rating and price per square foot, among many others. There’s even a filter for houseboats.

The app can also provide a snapshot of a property’s price history, as well as the price a buyer can expect to pay in council tax.

Jitty’s co-founders – CEO Graham Paterson, CTO Daniel Cooper, CPO James Storer and engineer Rita Sijelmass – are all ex-Deliveroo employees, and last year were able to raise £1.6 million through Gradient Ventures.

The platform launched in Bath this January, gathering more than 3,000 users across the city in the space of the two weeks – success the team is hoping to replicate as they expand to Bristol.

Graham said: “We launched our second city roughly four times quicker than our first, which we’re proud of given that it’s about five times bigger.

“We’re ramping up the speed, so we’re looking forward to announcing more cities soon.”
