Reading: Savills celebrates five years in town
Savills Reading office celebrated five years in the town, following the firm's 2013 start, initially with the Thames Water Property (Estates) team, part of the Savills Worldwide Occupier Services discipline. Planning, development, new homes and now valuations and residential lettings have followed, the office home to 36 employees, and still growing.
Savills Reading head of office Phil Brown welcomed clients and colleagues to their early evening celebration in the Concert Hall at Reading Town Hall and thanked them for their business over the five-year period. Fleur Stevenson entertained with her jazz quartet, and Savills was proud to host a viewing of the Reading Heroes portrait exhibition by photographer Salvo Toscano, supporting the Reading on Thames Festival and their cultural contribution to the town.
Savills UK MD Richard Rees attended the event, alongside David Jackson, Savills UK head of planning, and George Cardale, UK head of residential development sales – all recognising the importance of growth in Reading for the business, and the positive effect of a vibrant community to live in.
