Conteur, a creative communications agency, that specialises in sectors including Health & Social Care, Technology and Property & Housing, has strengthened its team with the appointment of three new people to its PR department.

The company, which was founded in 2011 and has bases in Worcester and London, has made the appointments having secured a number of new regional and national clients, as they look at new ways to communicate with their stakeholders and rebuild their marketing activities in the wake of COVID-19.

Liz Bowen has taken up the role of Account Manager and will be a familiar face to many people in and around Worcestershire, having previously spent time as a Senior Reporter at the Worcester News. She will work on creating and implementing PR and Thought Leadership strategies for clients across Conteur’s specialist sectors of Health & Social Care, Technology, Property and Hospitality.

Joining Liz in the company’s Worcester office are graduates Matilda Gillings and Molly Grant. Matilda joins the team as Junior Account Executive having obtained a Public Relations degree from Bournemouth University, including a placement year in the industry. Molly will be taking up the role of PR Assistant having recently completed a Broadcast Journalism degree at Nottingham Trent University. They will both be honing their skillsets working alongside the experienced PR team and delivering support to the company’s extensive client base across the UK.

David Huckerby, Managing Director of Conteur and a Worcestershire Ambassador, said: “This has been such a tough year for all businesses, so we feel privileged to be adding to our team at this challenging time and creating valuable jobs within Worcestershire.  Our team worked tirelessly to support our clients through lockdown and continued to deliver outstanding results. These significant new client wins are recognition of that dedication and we’re delighted to have been able to take advantage of the wealth of talent currently in the market as we start relationships with these exciting new clients. Liz, Matilda and Molly each bring their own areas of expertise that will benefit all of our valued clients, as well as the rest of our team.”
