Following significant expansion into the South of England at the start of the year, Vibe Recruit has strengthened its team in Oxford with two key appointments.

With a strong presence in South Wales, Vibe’s goal is to now establish its reputation in the South of England.

Graeme Passau will join the business as Regional Director, whilst Ash Bland has been appointed as a Senior Recruitment Consultant.

Originally from New Zealand, Graeme (pictured) has established an enviable recruitment career in the 30 years he has been in Oxfordshire.

Initially starting a technical and engineering division with an independent agency, Graeme grew it to be the largest in the region and in turn was promoted to Director.

His knowledge of the Oxfordshire market, the specialist businesses it is home to and the people within those organisations is second to none.

He said: “The Vibe values of trust & transparency, expertise, authenticity and motivation really resonate with me. I am looking forward to working with a talented team, partnering with the best companies in the area, to become the recruiter of choice in Oxfordshire.”

Ash Bland joins Vibe Recruit with four years of industrial recruitment experience, particularly in managing high volume client accounts. He has built a reputation locally for customer care and service for both clients and candidates alike.

Ash will be based in Vibe’s Bicester branch and will play a major role in building a portfolio of clients within the region and ensuring they are serviced to the high standards that the Vibe brand is known for.

Ash said: “Vibe has done exceptionally well with their growth plans over recent years, and I am excited to be able to make a big impact, strengthening their presence in a new region.”

Vibe’s Operations Director, Paul Southard said: “The last 3 years have been incredible for Vibe despite the challenging market.

"We have established a strong reputation across South Wales as a service-led business offering a full range of temporary, contract and permanent recruitment solutions across a variety of sectors.

"We are excited to be strengthening our team in key areas as we embark on our growth strategy in 2022.”
