The Lakeside North Harbour business park in Portsmouth has secured global online recruitment company Totaljobs as a new occupier.

Totaljobs has said goodbye to its home of 22 years at Langstone Technology Park, with all staff now relocating to the Lakeside office.

The hiring platform, headquartered in Bluefin, London and with offices across the UK, has taken up more than 10,000 square feet of Grade A office space for 150 employees.

The new space has been designed and fitted out for Totaljobs, ensuring a focus on the view of the lake. The offices have been designed with the future of work in mind and offer an array of collaboration, social, wellness and quiet zones for projects that need focus.

Plants dotted throughout the office help break up the space and complement the calming colour scheme that runs throughout all three of the offices that Peldon Rose has helped to design and fit out.

Totaljobs will join a collection of well-known companies at Lakeside including IBM, Virgin Media, Checkatrade, SSS and AT&T.

Alex Foster, Head of HR Transformation at Totaljobs, said: “At Totaljobs we’re committed to driving our business forward as a global recruitment technology provider. Our mission is powered by our people, and we want to support them by offering best-in-class working environments.

Lakeside was an ideal choice given our long-standing presence in Havant. Our new premises will offer staff improved, design-led facilities that allow them to embrace new ways of working in fresh, modern surroundings that reflect our brand purpose.

"The site has a real community feel to it and we’re looking forward to moving in and becoming part of that.”

This latest letting follows a string of recent deals for space at Lakeside, including NHS Property Services, leading insurance broker Markerstudy Broking and life sciences and diagnostic equipment manufacturer Scienion.

Simon Bateman, Asset Manager at Lakeside North Harbour, commented: "Last year was a rapid year of growth for Lakeside that saw us perform well and build an unrivalled experience for our community.

"Our aim is to meet the need for innovative and contemporary space that draws people back to the office and fosters a real sense of belonging.

“This deal with Totaljobs is testament to the offer of Lakeside, building on our 2022 momentum and nods to an even stronger 2023.”

The deal was led by agents for Lakeside North Harbour, Vail Williams and Lambert Smith Hampton.
